10月に延期となっている展示が、予定通りに行われることを祈りつつ、出品作品のうちの１枚『雨の音』についてお話しします。
While I’m hoping for the exhibition to be held in October, which is already been delayed, I would like to talk about one of my work, “the sound of rain”.
『冬の冷たい雨が、
木々の枝に、路上に、そしてコートに浸み込んでゆく。
それは心の中にまで染み込んでいくようだ。』
色の重なりで寒さを、透明の重なりで影を表現することを試みました。
影は、モノとして存在するのかしないのかと自問しつつ、
１/fの揺らぎを視覚で感じる方法はあるのだろうかと思い巡らせながら描きました。
“Cold of rain in winter drops onto tree branches, to the ground, and to my coat as if it soaks into my heart.”
Overlapping colors after colors for the expression of coldness, and overlapping transparency for shadows, asking to myself does shadow exist as a thing or phenomenon. Or is it possible to “see” 1/f. Wandering around my thoughts while painting.
最初はもっと大きな構図でとらえていましたが、今回は人物の影に焦点をあてて描くことにしました。
次はもう少し大きな構図で描きたいと思っています。
It started with wider composition, gradually focused onto person’s shadow for this time. For the next time, I would like to work on a wider one.
